I'm 23 and people are always asking me questions like, "Oh are you excited that school's almost out sweetie?" "Or what grade are you in?" or my personal fave which was asked to me today as I was shopping for bridesmaid's dresses for my wedding, "Do you need help finding your prom dress?"

LOL sorry for laughing but i couldnt help it. I'm only 12 but people think I look like 14 or 15... when I was touring a high school with my big sister one teacher came up to me and said "So, are you going to be a freshman or sophomore this year?" to me.

I've just written this question a while ago, but oh well. Well i didn't want to wear dresses to prom, because it just seems to weird for me, cuz i don't like showing my legs and stuff, though i'm not a tomboy or anything. No one sees me either showing my body, so it would be awkward to show up with a dress. And, when i say dresses i mean any type. People have said wear a long dress but i'm not.
So, i have decided to wear pants, any suggestions?
btw, i know some people will say that if you don't wear a dress then don't go to prom, and that's stupid because i know for sure 20 years later i WON'T say "why didn't i wear a dress" because it's just a prom that is not so big of a deal. I just came to have fun with friends. It's not like i'm going to dance all day and look good for everyone; I am going to look nice and everything, but not showing my body. And if you think prom is just a tradition thingie and you have to wear dresses, i'm still not buying for it. I'm sure there would be much better events in the future where i could maybe dress better.
