I'm 17 and love the books like "Top 10 Uses for an Unworn Prom Dress", "Dream Factory", and other teenage romance books. I really liked the Sisterhood movies, but I never could get into the books and I've read the entire Twilight series so those 2 sets are out. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't have a summer reading list and I'm not taking an upper level English class next year, so I don't have anything to read but I enjoy it. My friend went to prom this weekend, she kept asking me to go but I declined (I left HS two years ago and hate all things involving education). Anyway, she's been asking me to go for six months and each time I've said no.
Well, yesterday was the big day and she kept calling and calling me before, after and even during prom. I don't know why but ever since last night I've been feeling really irritated. I have little urge to speak to her for the time being? She called me at 3am half drunk from the hotel room of a girl she knew i despised telling me how she had to sleep in her prom dress "cuz she like fergot to bring her PJ's OMG"
Why is this? It's not like i secretly wanted to go, I really hate those sort of things, but really, I've been imagining clawing her eyes out.
